Smoked ribs / Pineapple wrapped ribs/ pork ribs for beginners • Hey guys it’s been a while since I posted ,Today we are smoking ribs using my Yoder pellet smoker. • I’ve been watching a lot of videos lately on people wrapping ribs around the pineapple. I found it very interesting so I decided to try it. I’m not really following a recipe. I’m just doing my own thing going with the flow I guess. • I started off getting my marinades ready and my rubs , I began with blending up some pineapple, smoked paprika , garlic, onion and honey that’s going to be my spread for the top layer. • Next, I’m gonna rub down my ribs with honey mustard and then rub my ribs down with killer hogs barbecue rub. I also rubbed down the pineapple as well, that will give the pineapple a sweet and hot smoky flavor. • Next we are going to wrap the ribs around the pineapple and install the skewers to hold in place. • Next I preheated my smoker I want to get it up to 250 • Ok here we go , I added the ribs to the top rack and let them smoke for about an hour to an hour and a half then I sprayed them down with apple cider vinegar, apple juice, and water. I want to keep the ribs moist they cook much better like that and adds moisture to the ribs as well And gives it that nice color that we’re looking for. • I usually mist the ribs down for another 2 to 4 times before I wrap them. • Now it’s time to get wrapping, after 3 hours has past I take my ribs off the smoker and get ready to wrap them in aluminum foil. I start adding my blended pineapple mixture to the top of the ribs and let it drip down , they barbecue sauce the sides up as well. • Next I wrapped and sealed it 2 to 3 layers to make sure it’s completely sealed, then added them into the aluminum foil pan and wrapped the pan as well to make a complete seal. • Next I added the ribs back to the smoker for another hour and a half to two hours • Here is the last step that we all been waiting for. • Remove the aluminum foil and add the ribs back to the smoker and brush them with a little more barbecue sauce and rub. I’m gonna smoke them for at least another 1/2 hour, that should be about it. I want to maintain the temperature of the ribs around 200° that’s what I’m looking for. That’s my sweet spot. • Cook time 5 hours • Temperature 250 to 265 • Ingredients • For the blended rub • Half of pineapple • 3 cloves of garlic • 1 half white onion • 1/4 cup honey • Smoked paprika • Ingredients • 2 racks of baby back ribs • 2 pineapples • Killer hogs BBQ rub • Sweet baby rays BBQ sauce • • I hope everybody enjoyed as I’m gonna enjoy • • . • . • . • . • . • #babybackribs #barbecue #bbq #bbqfood #bbqlife #bbqlovers #bbqnation #bbqporn #bbqribs #beef #brisket #foodblogger #foodgasm #foodlover #grill #grilling #instafoodie #meat #meatlovers #pork #porkbelly #porkribs #pulledpork #shortribs #smokedmeat #smokedribs #spareribs #steak #tasty #texasbbq
