Subscribe to the Evening Standard on YouTube: / @thelondonstandard • A rapper jailed over the death of Holby City actor John Michie’s daughter from a drug overdose at Bestival has won his appeal against his manslaughter conviction. • Ceon Broughton, 31, was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison last year after being convicted of the manslaughter of his 24-year-old girlfriend Louella Fletcher-Michie at the 2017 Dorset festival. • Ms Fletcher-Michie had taken a “bumped up” dose of the class A party drug 2-CP prior to her death, and Enfield rapper Broughton – who used the stage name CEONRPG – filmed her over the course of six hours as she slipped into unconsciousness. • The prosecution case at trial was that Broughton was to blame for the death as he had not taken his girlfriend to a medical tent which was around 500m away from their camp in the woods. • Read more: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime...
