This video explains all the 7 basic documents required to apply for the Undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. programs of the Turkish Scholarship. In the initial version of this video, I made a mistake saying only Doctoral applicants need to submit a Research Proposal. I apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused. I'd be glad to help • Timecodes. • 0:00 - Introduction • 0:41 - Documents listed on Turkiye Burslari website • The documents required according to Turkiye Burslari are the following: • -A valid National Identification Document OR a valid Passport • -A recent photo of the candidate • -National exam scores (required for candidates who do not possess any international qualification or certification) • -Diploma or temporary certificate of Graduation • Academic transcripts (online screenshots and uncertified transcripts will undermine the evaluation of your application) • -International exam scores (GRE, GMAT, DELF, YDS, YÖS …etc. if required by the chosen university program) • -Language test scores (if required by the chosen university program) • -A research proposal and an example of your written work (for Ph.D. applicants only) • 1:09 - Document 1 - Photograph • This should be recent and very clear. Please use white backgrounds if possible. It's the most preferred option. You can upload this document in Jpg or pdf formats under the Personal Information section. • 1:22 - Form of Identification • This is a document that tells who you are. It can be your Passport or National Identity card. Please upload clear pictures of this as well. It is very important. You are to upload this document under the Personal Information section. • • 1:43 - Diplomas • For Undergraduate applicants, your secondary school graduation certificate or testimonial is your Diploma. For Masters, your Bachelors Certificate, and for Ph.D. applicants, your Masters' certificate is your Diploma. You can upload this document under the Educational Information section. • 1:58 - Transcripts • A Transcript is an official copy of a student's educational record. They include all your grades/scores achieved throughout a particular study period. An unofficial transcript may undermine your application so make sure to get an official transcript from your school. The space to upload it is just beside the space for Diplomas under the Educational Information section. • 2:49 - National Exam • Different countries have different National Exams. It may be your final high school graduation exam or an exam conducted by a particular body in your country. You should also upload this to your application. A section you can upload this in is the Academic Qualification section. For West-African countries, simply choose WAEC from the drop-down menu, answer the questions, then upload your WAEC certificate. • 3:03- International Exam • Examples are SAT, ACT, GMAT, YOS, GRE, DELF, etc. You can also upload these results to the Academic Qualification section in the application portal. • 3:18 - Letter of Recommendation • This is an important document. I personally recommend you get two Letters of Recommendation. You will see the section to upload this after choosing the program you want to apply for (e.g Undergraduate or postgraduate). • 3:44 - English Proficiency Test • English proficiency test is only necessary if you want to study in English and if you are applying to universities that require it.
