These restrictions can range form the type of use a property can be used for, they types of finishing materials on structures, the location of structures, the types of structures, how many homes can be built on a specified area, etc. If you are buying a home, you should review these restrictions with your real estate agent or lawyer, prior to entering into a purchase contract.
