The Auas Mountains is the highest mountain range in Namibia. Located near Windhoek, the range is 56 kilometers long, and is rich in flora and fauna. Moltkeblick (2,479 m) is the highest peak in the range, and the second highest in the country. • So it would make for one of the most formidable challenges in Namibia. • Namibia remains a largely untapped landscape for trail and adventure running, even though conditions are great for outdoor running. • Two runners took it upon themselves to scale these high Namibian mountains for one great adventure. They ran the Auas Mountain Range. A relatively short distance for beacon to beacon, it still took them a long time to conquer the rough Namibian terrain. • They were the first two to run this great Namibian mountain range. • Running along the ridge of the Auas Mountain Range, just outside of Namibia's capital...
