NEET PG 2024 Maharashtra counseling Seat Allotment. Make sure you have everything Seat Allotment Process in order to avoid any last-minute stress. Here’s a quick breakdown of what you’ll need: • ✅ Seat Allotted – Yes or No • Once the seat allotment process is done, you will either have been allotted a seat or not. • If No: You can either exit the counselling process at this stage or participate in Round 2 by doing fresh registration and choice filling. • If Yes: You’ll have two choices ahead of you based on your satisfaction with the allotted seat. • ✅ Option 1: Report to the Allotted College • If you’re satisfied with the allotted seat, you should report to the college to confirm your admission. After reporting, you must fill and submit the Status Retention Form, which means you have accepted the seat and will not be participating in further counselling rounds. • ✅ Option 2: Willingness to Upgrade • If you have been allotted a seat but wish to aim for a better college or course, you can opt for Willingness to Upgrade. By choosing this, you’ll stay in the running for future rounds and have the chance to secure a seat in a higher-preference college in Round 2 or the Mop-Up round. • ✅ Round 2: Fresh Registration Fresh Choice Filling • If you didn’t get a seat in the first round or want to upgrade your seat, you will be part of Round 2. In this round, you'll need to re-register and submit fresh choices. If a new seat is allotted to you, you can either: • Accept the seat if satisfied and report to the college, filling out the Status Retention Form. • Opt for further upgradation if you think you can get a better seat, following the same process as before. • ✅ What Happens If You’re Not Satisfied with Round 2 Seat Allotment? • If you don’t get a seat or are unsatisfied after Round 2, you have the option to forfeit your deposit and exit the counselling process. • If you want to stay in the process, you can participate in the Mop-Up Round by registering again and filling in your choices. • ✅ Mop-Up Round: Fresh Registration Choice Filling • This is usually the last chance to secure a seat.
