Download FORScan here: • http://www.forscan.org/download.html • How to get the Extended license for FORScan (It's free): • http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.ph... • My new preferred adapter (Cheap and Works great!): • https://amzn.to/36wBNIW • Adapter I used in this video: • http://amzn.to/2BfGeLf • Another known working adapter: • http://amzn.to/2H0L0Ng • Possible other OBD2 Adapters see these 2 links: • http://www.forscan.org/faq.html#qobd1 • http://amzn.to/2C4rPOS • Here is the key I used: • http://amzn.to/2smjlTI • That should work with 99-03 F-Series trucks, Vans, Explorer and other Ford Trucks that have a key that looks the same. • Here is a list of models that are supposed to work • Ford: • 1998-2002 Crown Victoria • 2000-2005 Excursion • 1998-2002 Expedition • 1998-2000 Explorer • 2005-2006 GT • 1999-2003 F150/F250 • 2004 F150/F250 Heritage • 1996-2004 Mustang • 1999-2000 Ranger • 1998-1999 Taurus • 1999-2000 Windstar • Lincoln: • 2002 Blackwood • 1998-2002 Continental • 1997-2002 Navigator • 1998-2002 Towncar • Mercury: • 1998-2002 Grand Marquis • 1998-2000 Mountaineer • 1996-1999 Sable • Mazda: • 1999-2000 B-Series Pickup • But it would be wise to double check with the strattec site (http://aftermarket.strattec.com/) before purchasing. • • Some keys are programmable with a sequence of turning off and on in the ignition, From what I found the truck I have is not one of these despite there being instructions on the strattec site paired with the key on how to program. Could be I didn't do that process properly or Ford removed self-programming at some point.
