This is the first piece that I worked on when starting the project Piano Reductions Vol. 2 with Steve Vai. • When asked by Steve what piece I would like to arrange first, I named this song without any hesitation. • At that time, I had always been watching a video of Steve talking about music during a session he held at Guitar Center: • • Steve Vai: Guitar Center Sessions - H... • At the end of the video, he mentions how the ultimate goal is to become the music. Upon hearing that, it became a mantra and pursuit of mine as a musician. • On the first recording day of the album, he told me to become the music” as a key to my performance. You can't imagine how excited I was! The idea of working with Steve wasn't just a dream anymore.
