Beef Vindaloo Kerala Style Traditional Kochi Erivu Erachi Curry Recipe

This is a traditional curry found in those golden days at every Christian weddings as well as special occasions like Christmas, Easter, New Year etc. in and around kochi. I inherited this authentic recipe from my grandmother and we call it as eriverachi or vinnagiri erachi (pickled beef) in Cochin. In those days it was cooked in a mud pot and used to be preserved like that for few days without refrigeration. • Ingredients • Beef - 1 kg diced (cut into medium cubes) • Onions - 1 sliced • Ginger - ½ inch piece chopped • Garlic - 3 pods chopped • Curry leaves - few • Oil • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp • Vinegar - 5 tbsp • Salt - To taste • Grind all these together into a coarse paste • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp • Ginger - ½ inch piece • Garlic - 2 pods • Kashmiri chilly powder - 3 tbsp • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp • For method: Please follow the instructions as shown in the video and enjoy cooking • • MUSIC CREDIT: • Look At The Clouds • by Tristan Lohengrin • https://www.tristanlohengrin.fr • (No Copyright Music)
