Welcome to refashion revision where I take outdated clothes and turn it into new. In this episode, I’ll be turning these black and white trousers into a detachable overall skirt. Click SHOW MORE for more info! • • I bought these trousers 4 years ago when I was pregnant with my 3rd child, planning to wear it once I had the baby. But I ended up never wearing it, not even once! So I decided to transform it into an overall/bib/dungaree skirt that is detachable so I could wear it as a pencil skirt as well. • • My new wedding ring is from https://www.marctarian.com/ • Gemstone is 8x10mm pink morganite • • For this project you’ll need: • 5-6 buttons for the inside of the waistband • sewing needle • matching thread • safety pin • 2 buttons for outside the waistband • scissors • seam ripper • • Project cost: $4 for the buttons • Estimated time: 2.5 hours • Skill level: intermediate • • Do you like the buttons I switched to? I feel since the size is smaller and it’s matte instead of shiny, it blended with the overall skirt more and didn't take so much attention away as the other one.
