Hello guys!!!! • I have discussed chapter life processes in this video. • The topics this video contains is:- • 1. Life processes definition • 2. Nutrition • a) autotrophic • b) hetrotrophic • 3. Nutrition in plants • 4. Nutrition in humans • 5. Respiration • 6. Respiration in humans • 7. Mechanism of breathing. • 8. Respiration in plants • 9. Transportation • 10. Human heart • 11. Excretion • 12. Human excretory system • 13. Excretion in plants • Nutrition: • Autotrophic: Organisms that produce their food using sunlight or inorganic substances (photosynthesis) - e.g., plants. • Heterotrophic: Organisms that depend on other organisms for their food - e.g., animals. • Respiration: • The process of releasing energy from food (glucose) in the presence of oxygen, producing carbon dioxide and water. • Aerobic Respiration: With oxygen; more efficient and produces more energy. • Anaerobic Respiration: Without oxygen; less efficient and produces less energy, often leading to the production of lactic acid or ethanol. • Transportation: • The movement of materials (nutrients, oxygen, waste products, hormones) within an organism. • In plants, transportation occurs through xylem (water and minerals) and phloem (food). • Excretion: • The process of removal of waste products (e.g., carbon dioxide, urea) from an organism's body. • In humans, excretion occurs mainly through the lungs, kidneys, and skin. • Reproduction: • The process of producing offspring to ensure the continuation of the species. • Types: Asexual (single parent; clones offspring) and Sexual (two parents; genetic variation in offspring). • Growth: • The process of an increase in size or number of cells in an organism. • Controlled by hormones in plants and growth hormones in animals. • Sensitivity or Response to stimuli: • The ability of an organism to respond to changes in its environment. • Coordination through the nervous system in animals and growth regulators in plants. • Metabolism: • All the chemical reactions occurring in an organism to maintain life. • Anabolism: Building up complex substances from simple ones. • Catabolism: Breaking down complex substances into simpler ones. • Remember, these are just short notes, and each of these life processes is quite extensive and interconnected. Make sure to study each concept in-depth to gain a better understanding. Good luck with your studies! • ______________________________________________________________________________________________ • Website : https://www.voeacademy.com/ • LinkedIn:  / 9278.  . • Instagram:  / voe_academy   • App :https://play.google.com/store/apps/de... • _________________________________________________________________________________________ • Physics class 10th playlist: • • PHYSICS|| CLASS-1... • ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ • mathematics class 10th playlist: • • Bihar board class... • ________________________________________________________________________________________________ • English playlist : • • BASIC ENGLISH || ...
