Today’s guest on Ask an Archaeologist is Dr. Smiti Nathan, an archeobotanist with a PhD from New York University who has worked on field projects in Ethiopia and Oman. She currently juggles three roles: she is Founder CEO of Anthico, a human-centered educational services consultancy; co-director of the Archaeological Water Histories of Oman Project; and an archeobotantist for the Southern Red Sea Archaeological Histories Project. In the past, she’s worked in user experience research, higher education, archaeology, information management, and geospatial sciences.
