So instead of helping you to be successful, they might actually hurt you and put you in a hole. • On that same subject, many colleges charge students a lot more than they should for degrees • So it's more important than ever to do research on how much college will cost so that you can get the best deal and also hold these colleges accountable • To make this even more complicated, the sticker price that many colleges show aren't what you will eventually end up paying • Many colleges offer a lot of help and resources to students whereas some of them leave you on your own to figure that out • EDIT: Make sure to look at the difference in tuition between IN STATE and OUT OF STATE.
