Monster player is LSL Darkness, an old time Legacy player and a good friend of ours. He understood the game well enough but I think he was wrong not to deny the jump buff at 0:52 as he entered the caves. I'm quite sure he left it on purpose since we had many convos about the jump buff and he thought it was not useful. However, Gorgons acid spit required surfaces to damage (unless well tracked mid air), meaning jumping out of acid reduced its effectiveness greatly, on a monster that already struggled with DPS output without wall pounces. It was not only useful against this monster but others too such as Goli and wraith. Furthermore, it was useful for moving within and between domes as well. Where it lacked usefulness was in comps where medic required surfaces to heal, or against monsters whose abilities had lots of verticality such as Kelder. • He was successful in controlling both lvl3 map buffs but he lost too much health exiting the first dome, so in the end we did enough.
