A nevus (from Latin for birthmark ) without melanocytes. Summary: Yellowish hairless plaque on the scalp of kids. Epidermal acanthosis +/- papillomatosis (can mimic seborrheic keratosis or verruca/wart). Large sebaceous glands open directly to skin surface. Apocrine glands often present in underlying dermis.
