Adagio in A-flat Major for Brass Quintet, performed by Dan Christensen, Savannah Ramsey, Caroline Cummings, Chris Hass, and Kenny Burris and recorded by Zach Hummel. • Program Notes: • My first composition, this piece is an exploration of tonal harmony and suspensions/anticipations, featuring the minor 9th chord as the principal motif.
