I Hear You, By Luka Bloom. • From the record Out of the Blue; March 2021. • The year of Covid since March 2020 has had a strange dreamlike feeling to it. • Frequently I don’t know what day it is, and that is ok. So much solitude, and that is ok too. • As long as I surrender and embrace it all, and listen. • In the middle of 2020, 2 friends died. I could not attend either funeral. • But I began to play this piece of music. • It made me think of everyone who lost someone they love and care for, this past year. • I wanted to write a quiet piece of music on the guitar, just to say, ‘I hear you’. • This is the first track on my 2021 record of instrumental tracks; Out of the Blue. • Available at https://www.lukabloom.com • Matthew Kelly filmed the video in The Cliffs of Moher Retreat, Liscannor, County Clare.
