Check out these five reasons to buy the 2017 Lexus GS 350. • Powerful Precision • The GS 350 has one engine, a 3.5-liter V6 good for a commanding 311 horsepower. Now if you haven't experienced a Lexus drive, we highly recommend it, as they do an excellent job of blending power, smoothness and precision. Lexus also offers a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. Of course, the F Sport upgrade adds to a fun driving experience, as it's more performance-inspired, and yes, there's an AWD option for the F Sport trim level, too. • Standard Safety • Lexus is serious about safety, as they're very generous in the standard safety-feature department. The GS 350 has standard lane-departure warning and automatic emergency braking. There's also standard adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring. All of this innovative safety is called Lexus Safety System Plus, and now that it comes standard, it's just an added bonus for buyers. • Endless Features • The GS 350 comes pretty loaded out of the gate, whereas other luxury brands charge up for these type of features. The list includes a sunroof, power and heated front seats and even an innovative climate control system. There's also an available full-color head-up display, which really is worth the extra bucks, as it puts some very useful information right in your field of view. • Design • From a design standpoint, the GS 350 still stays true to its roots from years ago. There are standard LED headlights, heated mirrors and 18-inch wheels. Go for the F Sport and you'll get stylish 19's. The F Sport trim level also has some styling elements both in the front and back that give it a more aggressive look. In either form, though, from the base trim level on up, the GS 350 is beautiful. • Top Technology • As far as technology goes, up front is a massive 12.3-in split-screen that's really one of a kind. The high-resolution screen can do all sorts of stuff, like cool 3-D city views and so much more.
