In the file, you can see what lines correspond to what JavaScript tweak. To reset this state, go to Task Manager and end all instances of Steam Client WebHelper. The Steam Client will then reload the library again. • 17:18 • Steam file validation is based on the original file length. This is why, if you go to Steam\\steamui\\css\\libraryroot.css and open it up, after you run SteamFriendsPatcher, you will see that it is padded out with spaces to match the original file length. If Steam detects otherwise, it will delete the files and re-download them on restart. • js_tweaker changes the single reference of libraryroot.js inside library.js to libraryreet.js . So this is the file you see in use in the video. libraryroot.js is unmodified so as to pass Steam file validation. • What js_tweaker does is take libraryroot.js, makes a copy and beautifies it to libraryroot.beaut.js, adds in the fixes (fixes.txt) to libraryroot.modif.js, and then minifies the whole file again to libraryreet.js • After using js_tweaker, if you ever want to reset the JS modifications, modify fixes.txt accordingly, and delete libraryroot.beaut.js.
