One anothering and The Holdovers

This sermon discusses the biblical concept of one anothering, a theme in the movie The Holdovers and in Philippians 2:1-11 and Galatians 6:2. One another is a reciprocal pronoun that comes to life in Scripture through our relationships in Christ. It reflects Christ's humility and His willingness to take on human form and die on the cross. We one another by forming deep relationships and putting others' interests ahead of our own, following Christ's example. In The Holdovers, Mary, Paul, and Angus find themselves in a situation where they uncover and share each other's burdens. Ultimately, Paul’s personal sacrifice for Angus helps uplift him, demonstrating the power of mutual support and sacrifice.
