This video demonstrates how to perform a basic clinical examination of the lymphatic system in ruminants. Enlarged lymph nodes can indicate infection of the lymphatic system, such as in enzootic bovine leukosis (EBL) and sporadic leukosis or it can indicate a response to local infection when the lymph nodes are often warm, inflamed and painful.
