Mighty Ducks also known as Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series is an American animated television series that aired on ABC and the syndicated programming block known as “The Disney Afternoon” in the fall of 1996. The show was was inspired by and very loosely based on the live-action films and NHL team of the same name. Only one season of this explosive and action packed show was produced and Mighty Ducks: TAS aired a total of Twenty-Six episodes in all. The show deals with 6 Hockey playing ducks by day and 6 vigilante ducks by night who use augmented hockey gear like puck blasters, the Aerowing, Duckcycles and lots more to defend us from the evils from their home galaxy along with some from earth.
