Lightworks Tutorial: • This is the follow up to the previous video regarding using the timeline commands to your advantage. There are 4 main timeline commands that will directly affect the way that you use Lightworks. These tools are Slip, Slide, Trim In and Trim Out. They help you as the editor to quickly and efficiently manipulate certain aspects of the clips to save time. Briefly, the Slip and Slide tools changes the position of a certain clip within another clip of a different kind, while the Trim In and Trim Out tools help manipulate the duration of the clips. Trim In is primarily used to trim in where the yellow bracket will be positioned on the inside of the clip (left side) while the yellow bracket is be positioned on the outside of the clip (right side) when the Trim Out function is enabled. In addition, more timeline commands will be overviewed such as the Add/Remove Tracks and Grouping Tracks.
