Gerald's Game (2019) - Section: Horror Thriller • Recommended if you like: 1922, Would you rather, Stephen King's A good marriage, The Gift, The invitation • This Netflix Stephen King adaptation was a great surprise when it came out back in 2019. Stephen King adaptation have often been hit or miss, but this one was very efficient. After Doctor Sleep, I realize that Mike Flanagan has a gift when directing King's novel and this one is no exception. It has plenty of tension. It has a great cast including the main actress Carla Gugino that you might remember from the excellent series The Haunting of Hill House, the 2009 Watchmen movie and Sin City.
