And to clarify, I've never been employed by NASA either. The views here are entirely my own, and in this short, I ask at least one question that the press corps covering this event apparently have failed to ask. • As a retired RAF ATC padre, I offer my condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, and prayers for the souls lost aboard both aircraft in this accident that has shaken the USA and the ice figure skating community around the world. • While this is an accident that never, never should have happened, we will need to wait for the preliminary NTSB report due within 30 days before we have a clearer picture.
