Crochet Pocket Video Tutorial and Pattern. Beginner Level. There is nothing to it really. This one is just a square or rectangle made with the single crochet stitch. It's kind of like making a swatch. • Written Instructions: • Notes: Chain on as many chain stitches that you want (measure your foundation chain against your project so you get the right width). If the pocket needs to be wider then add more chain stitches for the foundation chain. • When working with the single crochet stitch, the ch 1 is not counted as a stitch and therefore isn't crocheted into when you come to it at the end of every row after the first row. • I've started with 13 ch sts for the crochet pocket in the video tutorial. • Row 1: 1 sc into 2nd ch from hk, 1 sc into each ch st across to the end, turn. • Row 2: ch 1, 1 sc into each st across to the end, turn. • Following rows: Repeat Row 2 until you have the height required. • Finish off.
