It is a powerful tool for reproducible and high-precision single-hit excitations in experimental modal analysis. The hammer handle with ICP force sensor uses a vinyl or steel hammer tip. The signal out - BNC socket connects to a PC soundcard or data recorder. The device uses a +24V power supply and can be connected to your computer or tablet via USB. Control of the excitation is possible via external trigger. The zero point search is conducted automatically for optimal results. With manual excitation, double hits can't be prevented and often lead to problems. But with WaveHit you have guaranteed single-hits for experimental modal tests.
