How to conduct calibration of a #pH #meter? • (Mettler-Toledo S220) • Good pH Practice: • 1. Always calibrate your sensor before the start of measurement • 2. Do no resue buffer solutions • 3. Discard opened solution after 6 months • 4. Allow sensors to equilibrate with the environment before each measurement • 5. Wait for reading stabilized icon to appear before recording the measurement • 6. Recharge or replace sensor when • Calibration slope falls within 85%-89% • Offset value more than 35mV • Slow response time during pH measurement and calibration • 7. Ony store sensor in 3.0M KCl • 8. Do not wipe sensor in harsh motion • 9.
