New 2024 Mitsubishi Triton Redesigned Midsize Pickup Truck

Mitsubishi is preparing to unveil the latest revision of its L200/Triton midsize pickup truck, also known as the Strada in some markets. The current 5th generation model he has had for nearly 10 years, so it's definitely time to replace it. • The new generation model was unveiled at the Bangkok International Motor Show a few days ago as the Mitsubishi XRT Concept. • The new Triton model will also underpin the next-generation Nissan Navara pickup as part of a platform sharing process within the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. • The concept looks like a camouflaged prototype of the Triton fitted with off-road accessories. A special wrap inspired by “lava rocks packed with condensed energy” is covering the entire bodywork, side windows, and lighting units, sending military vibes, while the Ralliart logo on the profile is a reminder of Mitsubishi’s motorsport heritage. • The XRT Concept features a bold, aggressive design with sharp lines and a muscular stance that exudes confidence and power. Under camouflage that hides all external components, the front grille is larger and more pronounced than the current model, giving the vehicle more presence. The headlights are smooth and flow into the company's Dynamic Shield bezel, and Bakkie's overall design seems more streamlined, which should help improve overall performance. • This new XRT features a tough double cab body with a snorkel and two spare tires in the bed, along with Ralliart logos and off-road rubber tires. The final design of the split headlights is now covered in camouflage, while the black-tinted taillights blend seamlessly with the body wrap. • Mitsubishi hasn't revealed details of the next-generation Triton's powertrain, which means the all-new Triton will take off its camouflage as Mitsubishi reveals it plans to launch the truck before the production XFC concept is unveiled in August.
