Arm sites, pros consβ¨ • I’m going to do different site location pros cons for all my subq friends! It’s some of the most asked questions, and also some of the most difficult decisions to make. • So let’s goooooo! • Arm sites are my fav, let’s be honest. Unless you’re new here you know this already. • Pros: • Hell week is way less painful than the abdomen or lower • The pain of hell week is more localized to the arm than when it’s in the stomach and it spreads so that makes it so much less terrible of a week • I prefer the arm bc it makes showering and definitely swimming way easier to keep dry • Also my arm is my fav bc I can cover it with a cover and it reduces the amount of adhesive I have to use. • Cons: • Quickset tubing is only now available at 23 inches and it’s just a tad bit too short to be comfortable so it makes threading it awkward • The arms are smaller (at least for me) so that means I have less real estate and a lot less room to move around sites • It’s shocking how much I’m tapped, hit or bumped on the arm. Definitely something I didn’t realize before I started using them for sites. • Take this info as you will, this is my personal experience! I love my arms, I give them a break every few months but I prefer them for sure. • . • . • . • . • . • . • . • . • #subqremo #sickfightsback #invisibleillnessawareness #spoonielife #noteverydiseaseisvisable #chronicillnessawareness #heartfailure #pulmonaryhypertension #chronicillnesswarrior #imawarethatimrare #rarediseaseawareness #phighter #mentalhealth #chronicillness #invisibleillness #livingwithph #invisibledisability #invisibledisease #raredisease #phwarrior #livingwithchronicillness #patientleader #patientadvocate #butyoudontlooksick #clincialtrial #pulmonaryhypertensionadvocate #notalldisabilitiesarevisible #sotatercept #chroniccommunity
