It has the distinction of being the most powerful bike yet from Bajaj and is the new flagship motorcycle for Bajaj Auto. Marketed as a power cruiser, the Dominar 400 plans to kick-start a new segment of motorcycles in the Indian two-wheeler market. It looks the part with the raked out forks, muscular tanks and the low slung stance making it a visually arresting motorcycle. Bajaj has loaded the bike with segment first features like, full-LED headlight, slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS and 320mm dia disc brake. The motor is based on the KTM 390 Duke’s powerplant but has been tuned to suit its power cruiser characteristic. And like all Bajaj motorcycles it carries an aggressive price tag of Rs 1.36 lakh for the standard variant and the ABS version at Rs 1.5 lakh.
