On 3 May, violence erupted in Jalori Gate area of Jodhpur that left 30 people, including six cops, wounded. The violence took place on the night of 2 May 3 May coinciding with Eid Parshuram Jayanti festivals. A curfew was imposed in large parts of the city and mobile internet suspended, as police teams cracked down on men involved in the violence.
