In fact, Stephanie Savage who executive produced the show, told E! Online that the writers have been rewatching the pilot and talking about their favorite episodes to prepare for the show's final season. • Now, before we get to season 6.... Let's talk about last night. • Blair finally made her decision between Dan and Chuck... and, as you may have guessed from our numerous updates -- she chose Chuck. Only, as per usual the timing was slightly off thanks to good ole' Bart Bass -- and it seems as though next season we will see Blair fighting for Chuck for a change. • Next up, we saw Serena turn to her old ways. Not only did she hook up with Dan in the same place she hooked up with Nate in season 1.... But we saw her leaving town on a train and turning to her old habits. • Viewers were also left shocked when Lily chose Bart over Rufus... and when Georgina Sparks returned to team up with a heartbroken Dan. • As for season 6, I'll have more details after I attend the CW upfronts on Thursday... but for now -- I do have some news. Savage dished on Nate's storyline next year saying that Lola was has left the Upper East Side for good but that another lady would be occupying his time in season 6 -- in the form of Gossip Girl. She said quote It' definitely going to be something that Nate is going to seize on and be tracking down... We thought he had pretty good detective skills this year, so we're going to keep using them! • As for Serena's latest downfall, she added QUOTE The final shot of Serena on the train, [having] Serena leave town as we saw her come back into town in the pilot, was definitely very deliberate... The idea now feeling that she's lost Blair, she's lost Dan, she's sort of all by herself again.
