A simulation demonstrating a vehicle automated parking algorithm. • The algorithm uses onboard range sensors to determine the relative positions of the surrounding obstacles. • Then using this information, motion commands are generated and used to safely move the vehicle into an available parking space. • This particular simulation demonstrates a parallel parking scenario. • The simulation is run in V-REP which is available for free at • http://www.v-rep.eu/ • The 3D-models are constructed in 3dsmax and exported into V-REP.
