A corrected version of a gene is introduced back into Gino’s body using his own cells, thereby eliminating many of the complications that occur with more standard therapies. While gene therapy is still considered experimental for many conditions, early outcomes are encouraging. • This video was created in collaboration with students and instructors from the College of Art and Design at Lesley University.
