A female Red Wizard named Safiya dispels some binding magic holding Janak there, and then tends to his wounds. Janak feels a hunger within that he's never felt before, and gets a vision from touching some runes on a nearby obelisk. We learn that Janak is now hundreds of miles away from the Sword Coast, in the country of Rashemen, which explains the presence of a Red Wizard (Rashemen borders Thay to the North). • We fight our way out of the lower barrow and find ourselves in the middle barrow, where we are confronted by a wolf spirit named Nakata, who promises to not let us leave. Before she can carry the threat out, a creepy alien-looking thing emerges out of Janak and devours Nakata completely. This has the effect of healing Janak's wounds and renewing him as if he rested.
