I would like to apologise for criticising the way Volkswagen Touran looks. It may look like Rowan Atkinson, but Grand C-Max is like Steve Buscemi. It may not look that bad in the pictures, but up close and personal it’s hideous, especially from the back. On the plus side this ugly backside packs two additional seats, and slightly bigger cargo space - around 450 litres, with the third row folded. Sliding doors are probably the biggest advantage of this car, because there’s no problem with packing those pests in the back even in a tight parking space. Ford Grand C-Max is relatively comfortable.
