Washington Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Dave Reichert says his state party is in “disarray” after what he called a “chaotic” convention that led to delegates endorsing his opponent. • In his first lengthy comments since he walked out of the weekend convention, Reichert said the process to nominate Semi Bird was a clown show that involved a changing of the rules after it was revealed that Bird was convicted of larceny. • Reichert has polled well above Bird on a statewide level and raised significantly more money than his opponent. • But Democrats seized on the walkout, with Bob Ferguson tweeting, “Dave Reichert: too weak to face his party.
