Van der Graaf Generator • Circus Krone, Munich, Germany • May 10th, 1971 • Audience Recording • Quality: B • This recording takes place one week into their 1971 German tour, which would be the inspiration behind Peter Hammill’s song “German Overalls”. Though a rather short recording, the band’s energy makes up for it with the three early 70s concert staples. This is also the earliest recording of Man-Erg, though we would not see its counterpart Lemmings until October of 1971. A very worthwhile show to listen to, especially since it’s so short. • Photo Credit: Barrie Wentzell • 0:00 - Intro • 2:19 - Darkness (11/11) • 9:18 - Lost • 21:20 - Man-Erg * • - First live recording • Download: https://mega.nz/folder/OnoVkShA#xtRFB... • Peter Hammill: Vocals Guitar • Guy Evans: Drums • Hugh Banton: Keyboards Bass Pedals • David Jackson: Saxophone Flute
