The famous scene in GoodFellas where Jimmy Conway (played by Robert DeNiro) finally had enough and begun offing the crew of the Lufthansa heist, who were acting recklessly and spending lavishly, with the risk that one would flip to the Feds. One-by-one he eliminated them and kept their shares of the heist money for himself. It had nothing to do with Henry Hill (played by Ray Liotta) or Tommy DeVito (a.k.a. Tommy DeSimone played by Joe Pesci). One of their favorite Italian restaurants was Old Salerno's restaurant that was right on the corner, only feet away from here, where the scene and song begin under Long Island Railroad tracks between Babbage and Bessemer Streets in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York City.
