Here is the procedure for CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation): • Adult CPR: • 1. *Call Emergency medical team : If you're alone with the person, call Medical emergency team first. If you're with someone else, have one person call while the other starts CPR. • 2. *Check breathing*: Check the person's airway, breathing, and circulation (ABCs). If they're not breathing, start CPR. • 3. *Start compressions*: Place the person on their back and position your hands (one on top of the other) on the center of their chest. Push down with the heel of your hand to a depth of 2-3 inches, then release. Repeat at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute. • 4. *Give rescue breaths*: After 30 compressions, give two breaths. Pinch the person's nose shut and give one breath lasting about one second. The breath should make the chest rise. Repeat for the second breath. • 5. *Continue CPR*: Continue compressions and breaths in a cycle of 30:2 until emergency medical services arrive. • Child and Infant CPR: • Follow the same steps as adult CPR, but with a few key differences: • Children (1-12 years): Use a ratio of 30 compressions to two breaths. • Infants (0-12 months): Use a ratio of 30 compressions to three breaths. • Use one hand for compressions in children and infants. • Important: • If you're not trained in CPR, call Medical emergency team and follow any instructions provided. • If the person starts showing signs of regaining consciousness, such as coughing, opening their eyes, or responding to verbal commands, stop CPR and wait for medical help to arrive. • Remember, CPR should only be performed by someone who is trained in the proper technique. If you're not certified, take a course to learn how to save a life! • cpr • baby cpr • teen cpr • basic cpr • adult cpr • child cpr • cpr video • cpr steps • learn cpr • infant cpr • what is cpr • cpr doctor • how to do cpr • newborn cpr • non-profit • cpr for baby • toddler cpr • cpr on a baby • cpr for kids • perform cpr • cpr for teens • teenager cpr • cpr training • cpr first aid • cpr for adults • cpr for tweens • cpr for babies • hands only cpr • cpr in english • emergency cpr • presbyterian • cpr technique • cpr to patient • compressions • #sohailcritter • #cpr • #Adultcpr
