Early flight testing of Long Ez N82MT to determine canard stall speed, which started @ 65 kias. The long ez has a very gentle safe canard stall and can maintain altitude, or even climb as the canard is stalling. You will notice the Auto Extend feature of the Wilhelmson Nose Gear (NG) Actuator deploy as the airspeed slows below 100 knots. After the stall, a short high speed run approaches 190 knots. The MGL airspeed was still reading MPH and was uncalibrated (reading almost 20% low) as later verified with Ground speed runs in opposing 180 degree runs.
