In October, 2015, Merle Haggard gave his final performance at the Grand Ole Opry, performing four of his classic songs that night, including Silver Wings, and The Fightin' Side of Me. Appearing on stage in a dark blazer and sunglasses, Haggard looked just as much the outlaw as he always did. He ended his surprise performance with I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink, a number one hit from 1980.
