Building a Bushcraft Wigwam Part 1

Here i show the beginning process of building a bushcraft wigwam at my primitive camp. I cut 16 saplings with my silky zubat saw, and back at camp I shaved the bark off the last 12 inches or so. I then built a small camp fire to fire-harden and slightly char the ends. This helps protect against rot and insects. Next, I dug post holes, anchored the saplings in place and began lashing them together using a japanese square lashing technique. • Look for more videos coming soon as I continue constructing my primitive shelter!
