This video shows you how two people can play a week’s worth of golf in Las Vegas for less than the price of a single green fee at one local club. Our journey begins at Desert Willow Golf Course in Henderson which has been named one of the top 10 Executive Golf Courses in America and Best Executive Course in Las Vegas amongst other honors. With tourist rates ranging from $30-41 Desert Willow snags our rating as the best golf value in Vegas. Desert Willow is a beautiful course that’s both playable and challenging for Golfers of all skill levels. Couple that with an excellent pace of play, and Desert Willow is a must visit course for your trip to Vegas. • Next we visit Durango Hills Golf Club. Durango Hills is a Par 58 course that plays to a Men’s rating of 59.1 with a slope of 100. Tourist rates range from $30 to $47. Pace of play can be a little slow, but it’s still a worthwhile visit. • Eagle Crest Golf Course in Summerlin is our third stop. A par 60 with a course rating of 60.5 from the blue tees for men and a slope of 97. Absolutely beautiful views and great course conditions. Water comes into play on a few holes, and accuracy is definitely rewarded throughout the course. • Then it’s off to Angel Park Golf Club. Angel Park is a massive facility that features two traditional 18-hole Arnold Palmer designed courses and a large practice facility. It also includes two other options that we’ll play for this video: the Cloud 9 and Devine 9 courses. The Cloud 9 course features 12 holes, 9 of which are playable under the lights for night play. Each of the greens are replicas of some of the most famous in golf including The Postage Stamp from Royal Trune, the Island Green from TPC Sawgrass, and others. The Devine 9 putting course features 9 real grass holes and you can play twice for an 18 hole experience. Convenience coupled with the ability to play after dark, make the Cloud 9 and Devine 9 great options for your trip. • For a couple of off the course golf experiences we begin with TopGolf Las Vegas, which is the flagship property for the chain. Along with downrange views of the strip, the venue features all the virtual courses and games like Angry Birds that you may be familiar with from other TopGolf locations. As it is Vegas, this TopGolf is over the top in terms of amenities including multiple bars and lounges, an area for playing cornhole, a multifloor video wall, VIP bays, as well as two swimming pools located next to yet another huge television. Afterward, we visit Kiss Monster Mini Golf at the Rio Las Vegas. You enter through an arcade area that includes many Kiss themed games and then get to the Monster Mini Golf Course. Whether you’re a member of the Kiss Army or just enjoy a little time in the air conditioning, it’s a fun experience that you can add to the evening after a round at a local course. There’s a sister property with a Twilight Zone theme on the strip at Bally’s, which is currently rebranding to Horseshoe Casino. • Finally, we round out the experience at Las Vegas Golf Center which features a nice indoor bar area, a practice range with unique targets, and the 9 hole course we’ll play. It’s located on Las Vegas Boulevard, just off the south end of the airport. There’s even a stop for the Deuce if you want to ride a bus from your downtown or strip hotel. While holes play an average of 137 yards long, there’s plenty of desert rough in front of and surrounding greens as well as sandtraps guarding many of the greens. It’s a short course that’s playable by any skill level but that significantly rewards accuracy if you want to score well. • 00:00 Teaser • 00:11 Wynn Golf Club Comparison • 00:39 Intro • 00:55 Pricing Overview • 01:33 Travel Bag • 01:56 Rental Clubs • 02:07 Desert Willow Golf Course • 04:21 Durango Hills Golf Club • 07:05 Eagle Crest Golf Course • 08:04 Angel Park Golf Club • 10:08 TopGolf Las Vegas • 11:41 Kiss Monster Mini Golf • 13:02 Las Vegas Golf Center • 15:11 Closing • This channel is dedicated to providing all the information necessary to ensure that you have an incredible experience on your trip to Las Vegas.
