In this video, I will be showing you how to customise the top bar in GNOME in Ubuntu 20.04 using CSS to get a new look. No extra extensions are necessary. Basically, we will be creating our own theme for the Gnome shell. If you know CSS, then you can customise it in any way you like. Otherwise, you can just copy-paste these lines: • #panel { • background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); • } • #panel .panel-button { • background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5); • border-radius: 2em; • color: black; • } • #panel .panel-button:hover { • background-color: rgba(0, 128, 0, 0.5); • } • #panel .panel-button:active { • background-color: rgba(0, 128, 0, 1); • } • Please give it a Like if you find it helpful and share it with your friends. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments. • Don't forget to subscribe to my channel.
