Síndrome de Wallenberg( síndrome bulbar lateral) • A 41-year-old woman suddenly presented the following clinical manifestations: • ✏️1-right facial hypalgesia e thermoanestesia • ✏️2-left trunk and extremity hypalgesia and thermoanestesia • ✏️3-right palatal paralysis with dysphagia and dysarthria • ✏️4-right Horner Syndrome • ✏️5-right appendicular cerebellar ataxia. • ✏️These are the classic manifestations of wallenberg syndrome(dorsolateral medullary syndrome). • The characteristic clinical picture results from damage of the following anatomical structures: • ✏️1-trigeminal spinal nucleus and tract involvement • ✏️2-spinothalamic tract • ✏️3-nucleus ambiguus • ✏️4-descending sympathetic fibers • ✏️5-inferior cerebellar peduncle and cerebellum. • ✏️Reference:Paul w.
