The first murder took place inside a residence on Castle Street where a teenager, identified as Tevin Palmer, was fatally wounded by gunfire. Neighbors told News Five off record that they heard a single blast sometime after three o’clock. Shortly thereafter, they were informed that a shooting incident had just taken place in the adjacent property. Inside the home was a seventeen-year-old minor popularly known as Chi-Cha. He had been shot at least once to the body. The location, we are made to understand, is often frequented by a number of people. While Queen Street police are yet to confirm whether the incident is gang-related, onlookers suggested that Palmer was an affiliate of the George Street Gang. • DEVIN PARHAM • Several minutes later, sometime around four o’clock, as many as nine shots were fired at close range upon another unsuspecting individual as he walked down Cemetery Road. Nineteen-year-old Devin Parham was injured multiple times to various parts of the body in that hail of bullets which is believed to be an act of reprisal for Palmer’s shooting moments earlier. He died at the scene of the shooting.
