In this video, I'll walk thru collimating a Nexstar 8se Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope (SCT) using the Hotech Advanced Laser Collimator (https://www.highpointscientific.com/h.... This is a step-by-step video including removing the corrector plate and secondary mirror and aligning everything from scratch. • I use the following adapters to connect the Nexstar 8se to the Hotech Reflector Mirror: I have the T-adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...) for my ASI294MC Pro camera (https://www.highpointscientific.com/z...) which has an 11mm ring that is M42 to M42. So I use that 11mm ring to connect to T-adapter which joins to M42 to M48 adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01...) which connects to the 2 reflector mirror that comes with the Hotech.
