The ideal to use landscape fabric to make grow bags has been done for years, by many people. So this is not my ideal to use this fabric. But I am doing this by hand, rather than a sewing machine. I hope this shows you, that you can do this with no need to buy one. Also no sewing skills needed. You just use a needle and thread to make simple stitches. Use a box cutter or scissors.
